When looking at Jeb Bush’s webpage and some of the main
issues in his agenda there are many that should be further analyzed. The first
issue is on reform and growth “Restoring the right to rise in America requires
accelerating growth, and that can’t be done without a complete overhaul of the
U.S. tax code.” The way Jeb wants to start change is by lowering taxes and make
the tax code simple, fair, and clear. By cutting the individual rates from
seven brackets to three brackets and having this reform in place it will
possibly allow around 15 million Americans to no longer bear any income
tax-inequality. There are other steps to Jeb’s reform policies, but that is
just to start out and reduce the deficit.
The second important issue in Jeb’s agenda is on the genocidal
terrorist army, Isis. Jeb’s plan is to first, support the Iraqi forces by broadening
and expediting our efforts to help ensure Iraqis rebuild their security sector.
Second, we need to help them by giving them consistent air power to support
local ground forces, which in turn would severely the enemy’s freedom of
movement. Third, we need to give current forces greater range of action, which
means we need to make better use of the limited forces we have by giving them a
greater range of action. We need to help our partners outthink and outmaneuver
ISIS.
Those were just a couple key issues that Jeb will face that I
will now compare to that of Donald Trump and some of his more important issues.
Trumps views are much more different than that of Jeb. When talking about tax
reform Trump believes in tax relief for the middle class Americans. Basically,
he wants to let people keep more money in their pockets and increase after
tax-wages. The similarities that the two want is reduce the headaches Americans
face in preparing their taxes and let everyone keep more of their own money. I think
they both agree on this point of tax reform in that it is hard for Americans to
do their taxes or even just fully understand them. They need to be more clear
and precise.
The views that Trump has on Isis are much more intense then
that of Jeb. Trump just wants to flat out bomb the entire place and really has
no respect for the Muslim population. I saw in an article that Trump said
Muslims should wear special id badges if they are to come to the United States.
I think that’s a little far in retaining peace. I think when comparing the two
Jeb is doing it in a much more natural way that is more peaceful. Trump is more
aggressive, but that may be what is needed to stop the terrible terrorist
attacks happening daily, which affect so many lives.
